Story
Stacey Chambers is a photographer based in Northwest England. Stacey has been studying at photography at Blackpool & Fylde college since 2021 gaining qualifications in level 3, HNC level 4 and HND level 5 and is about to embark on her BA HONS level 6 in photography, Specialising in digital photography, she is best known for her work in portraiture, documentary, and product photography.
Chambers' work is characterised by a keen observational approach, capturing authentic moments that convey depth and narrative. Her notable project, Inked & Empowered, explores the personal stories behind tattoos, blending portraiture with documentary elements. Through her work, she seeks to highlight individuality and the connections between people and their surroundings.
Stacey Chambers has exhibited her photography at PhotoNorth Festival (Leeds, 2024), The Hive Art Gallery (Blackpool, 2023), and Open 2023 at The Grundy Gallery (Blackpool, 2023). Her piece Reflections was acquired by a private collector in 2023. She has contributed to several collaborative projects, including Photography for Blackpool Children’s Services (2025), where she provided imagery supporting a new strategy for community engagement. In 2024, she worked on the Pomona collaboration at The Old Electric Theatre, capturing unit stills and producing projection images used as backdrops for an immersive stage production. In 2023, she was commissioned by Partingtons Holiday Park to create a photographic series showcasing the company’s uniforms. Additionally, in 2021, she contributed headshot photography for Right to Succeed, used in their annual conference materials.
